EDUCATION A BEDROCK OF SOCIAL AND POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT

Coming to Russia to study seem to be a big experience and exposure for many. I had the very rare opportunity - elusive to millions of Nigerians - to see and study both, witnessed the whole transformation and historical in Russia, their impact, and how they relate with Nigerian’s student and Africa as a whole. Far away from home, far away from Nigeria, I have the opportunity to research and reflect on why Nigeria has turned into a snail in the race and development in education and the biggest cankerworm eating herself in her world within the past decades, despite its enormous human and mineral resources.  Nigeria's problem is much more than bad leadership - as most of us wrongly think. Her greed, avarice and spirit of self centeredness that cuts across the key position holders.

NIGERIA CIRCUMSTANCES

Russian Federation gives scholarships’ to citizens to study. Russia literacy rate is 99.9 percent. Why in Nigeria, the Nigeria government and it’s selfish leaders do not give majority of Nigerians the opportunity to study. The NUC rather than increasing the quota of admission they went ahead to reduce it, which of course do not affect their children.

Many of the Nigerian youth are left with no option after fighting for admission for so many years up to no avail this is because the circumstances’ of the faith of life gave them no fame no money no influence. Just for the sake of some fat belly leaders who after using the countries money to organize a worthless meetings to ruin the lives of the youth in a round table talks, takes the decision that affect the lives of many and exempting their children. Many youth are left with no option than to do otherwise.

Give more Nigerians admission and opportunity to study I tell you the beautiful  and glorious tomorrow, for Nigeria would have been better planed today. Please let Nigeria be built today by educating the youth for a better tomorrow for Nigeria. And the unfortunate discrimination, killings and degradation we face studying abroad will be eliminated.

Now the issues of scholarship about 76 percent of those that are enjoying scholarship in Russia today and other part of the world are also the children of the rich that are in key positions in Nigeria. Except for the few exceptions..

How would a poor man’s child get a scholarship to come study abroad by or from the government it is as simple as a Carmel passing through the eye of a needle.
How can we move forward and develop when these things keeps happen, this is because a child that has been trained or brought up with a dubious money or stolen money would tend on the wrong part it is simple as ABC that is just it. A typical example is the young Nigerian that almost blew up the American airplane on December 25^th 2009, he was not hungry, he is a young graduate that enjoyed schooling on scholarship and the son of a wealthy parents.

We will all agree that if it were to be the son of a poor man, he would have not happen, he would have esteem and cherished the countries contribution to his life future and an opportunity to give back to the country. We all can testify what the son of the rich has given back to Nigeria as a result of December 25^th.

Admission: Give Nigerian’s admission into the higher institution

Percentage increase: Let there be a percentage increase in terms of admission into the institution.

Scholarship: grant more Nigerian’s scholarships

Then watch and see if development will not grow in a fast pace in Nigeria, see if hoodlums and all the youth vices will not reduce to the beeriest minimum.

A big thanks to the Russian Government/ some of the universities in Russian, that have taken it upon themselves to grant some students who are extraordinary in their studies scholarship, and in some cases some students who in one way or another may have lost their  sponsors or financial means with which they study some scholarships.  This as a result of the fact the they know the value of education. That it's the best legacy one cane give a society and it citizenry. 

I have learnt in Russia that when applied for admission if qualified you will be given a chance to study, but this is not so in Nigeria. This is what we must do if our country will grow and if corruption, bribery and youth vices will be eliminated.
